Beginners' guides to using the forums

If you want to participate and contribute to these forums, you must first register. Follow the instructions in the appropriate guide:
When you register, don't forget to click on the link in the email that you will receive in order to complete registration. If you are a member, please make sure you are upgraded to full membership of the forums by sending a private message or email as explained in the instructions.

Over the next few weeks, I will be posting a series of guides to help people who are new to participating in forums. They will include the following:

I am also planning a Problem Solver. This will be similar to the FAQs but will explain in detail how to diagnose and solve the problems.

If you have any suggestions for further beginners' guides or problems for the Problem Solver, please post them as replies to this topic.
