Meeting report from Cheltenham Group. Thursday, 24th September, '09.
Using quotations mainly from Voyage of Discovery, JB prepared material entitled "Listening to the Inner Voice". The starting point leads on from the final part of last week's discussion on listening to the Atman within. The quotations mainly relate to the theme of Conscience.
T.N. asked: How do we know it is conscience that we are hearing?
Some responses: By asking "Is it right?" and trusting that conscience looks after your best interests . . . By paying attention to the little things of daily life and practising that hearing . . . It is all connected with discipline and being aware, and it reminds you to meditate.
Q. (re. the final quote from H.H.) What is meant by the Sadh-Guru? As we lack a Sanskrit scholar (!) in our group, we would welcome enlightenment.

Re: Cheltenham Group: Listening to the Inner Voice
I have asked the Tuesday lunchtime group to find out an answer to the question. They have a good Sanskrit expert. They are not registered users yet, so I have done this by email.
Re: Cheltenham Group: Listening to the Inner Voice
Sadh-Guru - true Guru
Sadh - truth as in satchitananda truth, consciousness and bliss
H.H. says that when one of these is present, so are the other two
